    The BAYS Foundation supports non-profit organizations that provide opportunities and increase access for underserved children to participate in organized sports and education programs in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.  We are proud to support these six innovative programs:

    America SCORES Bay Area inspires you福利彩票软件下载th in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression and service-learning.  With teamwork as the unifying value, SCORES inspires you福利彩票软件下载th to be engaged students, to lead healthy lifestyles, and to be agents of change in their communities. The new Jr. SCORES program is aimed at low-income first and second graders in San Francisco and West Contra Costa County.  It represents an ambitious effort to use the power of soccer and story-based learning to impact two early determinants of future academic success:  connection to school and proficiency in basic literacy skills prior to third grade. Using the power of sports and the draw of an exciting and enriching after-school program, SCORES aims to help prevent truancy and illiteracy for program participants.

    Since 1988, East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring has been impacting the lives of hundreds of East Palo Alto you福利彩票软件下载th. Through partnerships with families, schools, and the local communities, EPATT promotes leadership, discipline, hard work and excellence among its 100 K-12 students. Using the unique mix of one-on-one academic tutoring and tennis instruction, EPATT strives to enrich the academic, athletic, and social skills of its participants.

    The mission of Girls on the Run of the Bay Area is to educate and build confidence in you福利彩票软件下载ng girls through non-competitive, curriculum-based running programs in San Francisco, Marin, Alameda, San Mateo, and Contra Costa Counties. An innovative running program for girls ages 8 to 13 uses experiential learning to teach very specific and well-defined social and personal skills. The program culminates in a non-competitive community running event that gives the girls a chance to shine and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.

    KEEN is the San Francisco affiliate of a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and you福利彩票软件下载ng adults with developmental disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. KEEN’s mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing you福利彩票软件下载ng people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.

    Oakland Community Pools Project’s mission is to provide affordable, community-driven, swim programs that engage the local you福利彩票软件下载th and empower them to achieve success.  Our goal is to develop our participants’ physical and mental health in a fun and unique environment, deeply rooted in self-discipline, teamwork, and whole-body awareness.

    Real Options for City Kids is dedicated to nurturing the healthy development of children by listening attentively to their needs and by providing opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access. ROCK aims to promote the positive development and long-term success of the you福利彩票软件下载th that it serves through a combination of in-school and after school learning enrichment, sports and fitness, leadership training and outdoor adventure opportunities. ROCK’s programs are designed to serve girls and boys, ages 6-17, who live in or attend school in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley.

    Since 2009, the BAYS Foundation has contributed more than $500,000 to our grantees for general program support.
